This agreement is between you and Brad Macdonald ("the developer") for the software BackupTempo ("the software").
License
The developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software on Mac computers that you own or control. During the beta period the software is free to use; pricing for release versions will be announced before any charge applies.
Restrictions
You may not redistribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the software, or misrepresent its origin. You may not reverse-engineer the software except where applicable law permits it regardless of this agreement.
Time Machine
BackupTempo schedules and monitors Apple's Time Machine; it does not perform backups itself and is not a backup of your data. You remain responsible for verifying that your backups exist and can be restored. The developer is not liable for data loss, including loss occurring while the software is installed, running, paused, or misconfigured.
No warranty
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer's total liability for any claim related to the software is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Termination
This license ends automatically if you breach it. Sections "Time Machine", "No warranty", and this sentence survive termination.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
